A Stewardship Way of Life is wonderfully explained in this VIDEO link below:
In their Pastoral Letter on Stewardship, the U.S. bishops affirm: “The Christian steward is one who receives God’s gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner, shares them in justice and love with others, and returns them with increase to the Lord.”
As we approach the end of 2020, please help St. Joseph the Worker and Our Lady of the Lake to prepare for the coming year of ministry and service by prayerfully considering your commitments of time, talent and treasure to the church that are reflective of your gratitude for God’s abundant grace. St. Joseph the Worker and Our Lady of the Lake are taking steps to become a Stewardship Parish! Our first annual stewardship program is an opportunity for all of us to take an active role in growth of our parish and for each parishioner to practice the principle of stewardship — giving back a portion of our blessings to God. Remember, giving opportunities come is many forms, not just financial. Give of yourself as a volunteer and set aside time for prayer and spiritual growth. “What you give will be returned tenfold.” As Christian Stewards, we are challenged to evaluate our lives and give back a just portion of our blessings to God. In spite of the difficult times, we are fortunate people. Our thanks for these and many other blessings should be reflected in what we give to advance Christ’s mission in the community.
Please see the document below for ways to give back to God for all God has given you!

STEWARDSHIP COMMITMENT FORM (submitble e-form)
Prayerfully consider your gifts of time, talent and treasure and what you can do to give back to God. Our goal for this first year is to receive commitment forms from 150 families. Will you help us reach our goal? Please return your commitment form by November 28th & 29th. The commitments secured during The Stewardship Program, and sustained for years to come, will be directed towards supporting the ministries and programs of our parish. Accept the challenge to live your entire life as a steward of God, setting aside and prioritizing your time, talents and treasure, and giving back to Him a portion of these blessings!

As it is written: ‘Whoever had much did not have more, and whoever had little did not have less.’”
