On December 24th at 5:45 pm, the Children's Liturgy Committee offers a special Mass for the children of the parish. Join us as we portray the Gospel story. All children Grade 2 and under are invited to participate as shepherd and angels. Grade 3 and up are invited to be candle holders. Those families who wish to participate, please meet us in Father Sullivan Hall at approximately 5:30 PM. This is truly a wonderful way to celebrate Jesus and begin your Christmas Season. Healing Mass - Fr. John Baptist Bashobora of Uganda will be celebrating a Healing Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Halifax, Friday at 7 PM. Fr Bashobora heads the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Mbarara Archdiocese, Africa, where he has become renowned for extra ordinary acts such as miracle crusades.
Children’s Liturgy invites you to join us as we hold our third annual Family Hoe Down on Saturday, October 19 following the 4 o’clock mass until 8pm. There will be hot dogs, baked beans and corn bread as well as dancing and crafts. Enter your famous chili or apple pie in our taste testing contest or carve a pumpkin for our jack-o-lantern contest. During Vacation Bible School Week, July 29 - August 2, all VBS campers and their families are invited to attend the 5:30 daily Mass here at St. Joseph the Worker Church. After Mass, the directors, Mrs. Hartigan and Mrs. Keane, will be offering a short enrichment activity. We hope to see many of our families attend.
