Healing Mass - Fr. John Baptist Bashobora of Uganda will be celebrating a Healing Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Halifax, Friday at 7 PM. Fr Bashobora heads the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Mbarara Archdiocese, Africa, where he has become renowned for extra ordinary acts such as miracle crusades.

Children’s Liturgy invites you to join us as we hold our third annual Family Hoe Down on Saturday, October 19 following the 4 o’clock mass until 8pm. There will be hot dogs, baked beans and corn bread as well as dancing and crafts. Enter your famous chili or apple pie in our taste testing contest or carve a pumpkin for our jack-o-lantern contest.
