A Core Member is a person who is responding to his or her baptismal call to serve in our Confirmation Super Sunday Program. It is a call to evangelize young adults when they need it most: during their teen years. We are looking for people of all ages. The most healthy Core Teams have a range of ages, backgrounds, and personalities. Any person called by God to serve in this capacity, regardless of age or background, can be an instrument to lead teens closer to Christ. All that is needed is a faithful heart and willing spirit. Lent is a time to change one’s heart. That is not an easy thing to do. In a small community we see how Jesus, in the midst of activity, always took time for silence and prayer, and we realize how important it is for us to do the same. Due to the unusual winter snow accumulations and less than optimal conditions at the school parking lot, classes for Grades 3-5 are cancelled for February 5th at the Indian Head School. The Grade 2 Sacramental preparation session and Parent Meeting will still be held at the Church beginning at 9:15. Classes for Grades 2-5 are cancelled for February 12th at the Indian Head School. Classes will resume on Saturday, March 5th for Grades 2-5. Please do Chapters 14-16 at home during this winter hiatus. See you all at Mass! God bless!
